Welcome to West Pennant Hills Public School, a wonderful school with enthusiastic, caring staff and dedicated students working in partnership with a very supportive parent community.
West Pennant Hills Public School was established in 1850 and enjoys a strong history within modern facilities, where students can access state of the art equipment provided by the NSW Department of Education and Community and also through the efforts of an active parent community.
Our experienced and dedicated staff work together to meet the needs of every student, providing a balance of academic, cultural, sporting, social and leadership programs in a supportive and caring learning environment.
As well as a comprehensive academic program, the school provides our students with a wide range of extra-curricular activities including:
- Student leadership and Student Representative Council
- Music, Drama and Gymnastics programs K - 6
- Debating
- Comprehensive Band program, which includes Junior, Senior and Performance Bands
- Robotics Club
- Chess club
- Comprehensive dance program comprising of a Junior girls', Senior and Boys' dance groups
- Choir for students Years 3 - 6
- Comprehensive sporting program with participation in district PSSA, State Knockout Competitions, Paul Kelly Cup and Paul Wade Cup, Mile Sterjovski Soccer Cup as well as school sport K - 6
- Green Team – Environment Group for students

West Pennant Hills Public School has always been held in high regard by the local community. A strong sense of belonging and pride is evident amongst the students.
