Our school was given the opportunity to meet Julian Leeser, MP and member of Australian Parliament on the 20th of November, 2020. The leadership team and Mrs. Harris greeted him, and showed him our schools new and updated passive play area. Julian Leeser was very kind and donated $5,000 towards renovating our passive play area, therefore we dedicated a plaque towards him in our new space. He visited our school and talked to the leadership team about the new space, as he was curious about how his donation has impacted our school. We talked to him about what our old area used to be like, and how much it has improved and become more popular with the students in the school. We also chatted with him about how the improved passive play area has benefited us and improved our learning. We took a few pictures, and he offered to donate new flags to our school. Having Julian Leeser at West Pennant Hills Public School was an amazing experience, and we are very grateful for his generous donation.
