Canteen

The School Canteen operates from Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 1:30pm. It is located next to the School Hall and Library. The Canteen is administered by a Sub-Committee of the P&C.

It is staffed by paid supervisors and parent volunteers.

For your convenience, Lunch orders can be placed using our online odering system,  Qkr!

The Canteen aims to provide:

• Satisfying, nutritious food choices at a minimum cost
• A convenient service for Parents
• Opportunities for Students to learn responsibility and Mathmematical skills

All food avaliable at the Canteen have been rated "Amber" or "green", meaning that we are providing healthy, fresh choices each school day.

Online ordering for P&C Events, Canteen, Uniform Shop & Band

Qkr! is an easy-to-use mobile app for iPhones and Android smartphones that makes ordering school lunches, uniforms, or tickets to the disco, a breeze.  West Pennant Hills Public School P&C Association initiated the Qkr! program. Qkr! is used for special food days, fundraising events, Canteen, Uniform Shop, and School stationery pack purchases, School Band payments, etc.

Why is Qkr! better for parents?

• It is a secure mobile app run by Mastercard and Commonwealth Bank that allows fast and easy payments;
• It gives parents the flexibility to place orders and make payments wherever and whenever they like;
• It gives parents the ability to manage children's canteen orders to ensure they're eating well;
• There is no need to load funds in advance.

Can my child still buy food from the canteen at recess and lunch?

Yes, your child will be able to buy food and drink over the counter at recess and lunch.

Can I make School payments, eg pay School fees, using Qkr!?

No, Qkr! is only available for payments relating to the WPHPS P&C Association and its sub committees.
