Financial Contributions and Assistance

Financial Contributions and Assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

These include:

  • Uniforms

  • School Books and Equipment

  • Excursions

  • Co-curricular activities.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

Semester Accounts

At West Pennant Hills Public School, accounts are issued each semester. The Semester 1 fee statement contains the  costs for school programs, Term 1 & 2 extra curricular activities as well as the Parents and Citizens Association voluntary contribution. This statement is issued during Term 1.

The Semester 2 fee statement covers the costs of extra curricular activities for Term 3 & 4 as well the school voluntary contribution. This statement is issued during Term 3.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.

Families experiencing financial hardship can make an appointment to negotiate a confidential payment plan with the School Principal.
